For chocolate lovers this is 'The Cake'. Nothing but chocolate all the way through! The sponge is not dry like some chocolate sponge cakes, but sticky and dark in colour. The contrast between the butter icing and the fudge icing is delicious, and it is as good served hot as it is cold. Although it's a lengthy process and makes a terrible mess in the kitchen, making this cake is worth doing.
