Chocolate-Recipes
To share and eat
This is the home for
the chocoholic who wants to share their passion and chocolate-recipes. Boy,
is this going to be fun! It is just a selection of chocolate-recipes
and chocolaty things.
As you can see, we have just started, yet
there will soon be a constant supply of superb chocolate recipes
that you will just simply drool over, and of course, enjoy!
New recipe books are coming out all the
time, and most seem to have some chocolate ideas in them with new twists
on old themes of cooking with chocolate. That is great and we
hope to feature the ones that live up to expectations. However,
the main function of this website will be run almost like a club where
chocolate recipes will be swapped, added to, discussed to just move our
great love forward.
It is amazing that just mentioning this
website to some friends, you firstly get an 'Ooooooooh' and then, perhaps
a 'Wow!', but to a person 'What a fantastic idea.' Within a few
hours my friend Sue, who is school librarian, emailed me with three succulent(!)
recipes. I asked for photos to add to her recipe but she claimed
that once made, her Chocolate Shortbread didn't stay around long enough
to get the camera out! Guess she will just have to make some more
with me around at the moment of birth as it were. Perhaps
I too, could grab a piece - with a photo for you to see, of course.
As things progress, it seems that separate
areas of chocolaty things will need to be created and run from the side
buttons. So,
in no particular order, there will be areas for chocolate cakes - and
currently chocolate wedding cakes are really the in thing; chocolate
puddings; the making of chocolates - that's a special favourite of mine;
chocolate drinks; chocolate gifts - you make, friends receive - what
could be better? Chocolate parties and 'get-togethers' with chocolaty
games - oh dear that could lead to trouble!
Finally, we hope to have a 'chocolate recipe
of the month'. The idea is that we make it and then vote on it. Alternatively,
link something chocolate to a month. Easter in April, Valentine's
Day - February, etc, etc
This is the start of much fun. All
we need now are chocolate recipes that take the weight off. Ummmm....
